I worked many years with Gregg in the automotive industry starting in the late 90's. I don't live close to the shop but if I needed any automotive attention this would without question be my go too! On 4/29/26, I had a very stressful car EMG, in Round Rock with my 2012 GMC Terrain! I started losing my brakes on the trip down. Then battery was dead, coming out after my afternoon medical specialist appt! A couple hours later, got help sent & car started, so I drove carefully straight back to Kingsland, more stressed, added to my ongoing medical issues!! I drove straight to "Do Good Automotive" in Kingsland close to home! Gregg, the Owner & his sweet wife showed such compassion just like family, listening, offered me hope! Now with no pressure or rush, from Gregg, only his suggestion, "to give repairs some thoughtful prayer first", (Who does that), I left my car overnight for evaluation. He had a mechanic bring me safely home. And I did pray & slept peacefully on it. In the morning after thorough tests & evaluation, Gregg called with a verbal comprehensive repair assessment (with a better than expected cost!) We discussed all repairs needed & what was the most immediate repairs needed, to get me up & running safely for now. (its a older car) I was also given a professional DVI print out, matching exactly everything, he discussed over the phone! He patiently answered ALL my questions so professionally. being very transparent. Previously married, to a great professional mechanic, I've learned a lot. I'm still picky about my car repairs! It's been very difficult to find a trusting good reputable car repair shop lately, especially being female! My Car was repaired much quicker & cheaper then expected! It took so much stress off of me, to not make a rush decision if car cost effective to still keep, having ongoing out of town medical appts! I definitely will return for a 3rd repair needed! I trust Do Good Automotive in Kingsland completely! And continue to share my awesome experience, with friends & loved ones!!
